RGRC Update #3

source
Wow, I can't believe it's been three months since I last posted about my progress in the Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge.

Over Christmas I had been determined to read at least 3 or 4 books that are on the list, but all I managed to read until now was “The strange case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”, and I didn't even read it until on the plane to India. And I have to admit, I didn’t get it. I didn’t understand what Mr. Stevenson is trying to say in this book. It is well written and I enjoyed reading it, but I can only imagine that maybe he wanted to illustrate the transition of a nice man into an evil one. Or maybe he’s talking about some kind of psychological disease. Or even something entirely different. Who knows?

What do you guys think this book is all about?

Xoxo, keep on reading!

India, here I come

Travel route in India
Today I started my trip to my friend's wedding in - waaaaait for it - India! I never even had the wish to get to know more about India or even go there. It just didn't seem to be worthwile. Now, of course, I am so excited and can't wait to finally arrive in this fascinating country.

I've read a lot about India and am so curious to find out if everything turns out true. The friend I'm travelling with and I have never been to India or nearby before, so we decided on sticking to the "Golden Triangle" and visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur before we head south for our friend's wedding that'll take place at a beautiful beach near Jaipur.

I have started another blog called "1001 Orte", which means 1001 places, derived from the very famous travellers book "1000 places to see before you die", where I will post my impressions. I decided to write this blog in German, so it'll be easier for my grandparents and other non-english speaking relatives to read. However, I've integrated a translate button, so all of you will be able to read about my adventures.

Let me know, have you ever been to India?

Xoxo, I'll be back in two weeks. In the meantime, see you guys over at the other blog!

Happy New Year

source
Happy New Year to all of you! I wish you that this year all of your resolutions and wishes will come true and that it'll be the happiest year of your life!

Remember the New Year resolution I made last year - finding my very own Mr. Big? At this very moment it seems this NY resolution has come true!

Last summer, when I finished my studies and started working, one of my new colleagues caught my eye and - because of my other colleagues selfishness (that, in this case was actually a blessing) he and I went for lunch together almost every day and the rest is history. We've been dating for almost three months now and it's still so amazing and so different to all the relationships I had before. It's not the I am so excited, butterflies in my belly-type of relationship, but one of those it feels so good being together and everything is absolutely relaxed and feels as this is the one-type of relationship.

I feel like I should have told you about the goings-on before, but I really didn't want to spoil anything by making prophecies to soon. However, as it is, I feel like (and truly wish) this will
be going on for a long time to come and I can't wait to savor every single minute of it.

I wish you all that you will be able to make a NY resolution that will come true just like mine did.

Xoxo, Happy New Year!
